With this opening we are looking to hire  Equipment Maintenance Technician

, whose responsibilities include:

  • AMS/Princeton Optronics is currently seeking a technician to take care of its clean room facility, repair and maintenance of equipments and characterization equipment.
  • This facility contains a suite of instruments, including mask aligner for photolithography e-beam evaporator, Reactive Ion Etch Equipment, Plasma-CVD, and a collection of characterization tools.
  • Responsibilities include but not limit to maintenance and upkeep of the equipment as well as purchase and installation of new equipments on need basis.
  • Requirements:
    • At least 3-5 years hands on equipment maintenance experience in a clean room manufacturing environment.
    • Be able to troubleshoot, repair and maintenance various semiconductor fab equipments.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.

Role:  Laser Test Engineer

Princeton Optronics Inc, is seeking a highly qualified individual, with a B.S or M.S in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field, and strong communication and analytical skills. The individual should have a good background in semiconductor laser diode physics. Experience with testing and characterization of VCSELs, laser diodes, or other semiconductor devices is desirable, but not essential. The individual should have a working knowledge of electrical and optical test equipment as well as test/process automation. Individual will be responsible for developing test and diagnostic platforms for optoelectronic components, as well as the characterization and data analysis of novel laser diodes.

Main job responsibilities:

  1. Perform testing and characterization of high-power semiconductor lasers
  2. Develop test stations for high-power laser device characterization for R&D and manufacturing, including test equipment and components sourcing, hardware integration and automation.
  3. In cooperation with mechanical engineers design and procure test fixtures
  4. Develop test procedures and specifications, understand capabilities and limitations of testing equipment be familiar with GR&R and calibration methods
  5. Document test procedures, train and supervise operators
  6. Analyze test data and characterization results
  7. Prepare and present test summaries and characterization reports.

Qualifications:

  • B.S or M.S in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field.
  • Experience in testing and characterization of electronic components, preferably semiconductor lasers
  • Good understanding of semiconductor laser diode physics and main laser laser diode characteristics (electrical, optical, spectral, thermal etc)
  • Good programing skills and test automation experience with Matlab, Phyton, C+ or similar.
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially in MS Excel

With this opening we are looking to hire Laser Test Technician

  • We are seeking a qualified individual, with high school degree and additional relevant community college coursework. The individual should have some technical background preferably in electronics and/or electrical assembly and testing.

Job responsibilities:

  • Test products. Interface with engineers on special tests and qualification testing of new products
  • Assess test setup and tooling effectiveness with regard to product testing and data collection
  • Follow written and verbal directions of test engineers for setting up test equipment
  • Other duties as assigned, such as inventory control, data entry, etc.

Qualifications and skills:

  • High School graduated or equivalent.
  • Experience in the testing or assembling of electronic components
  • Ability to use a variety of testing and measuring equipment like multimeter, optical power meter, oscillascope
  • Ability to read and understand technical instructions and schematics.
  • Must have good hand and eyes coordination and basic iron hand soldering skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be trained by engineers
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office.

We are looking for a highly skilled Manufacture/Packaging Engineer, whose responsibilities include:

  • Support projects related to production and process development, develop module packaging and assembly processes in the pilot line;
  • Support a variety of tasks, collaborate with the design team and the reliability test team;
  • Support production and ramp up of new products and production processes, collaborate with the contract manufacturer (CM);
  • Lead the key packaging or assembly processes including die bonding, ball and wedge wire bonding, PCB assembly

Experience:

  • 1-3 years working experiences in LASER and LED industry; hands-on experience with lasers, LEDs packaging are a plus.
  • Knowledge in SPC, DOE and six- sigma
  • Familiar with quality system and reliability testing

Education/Requirements:

  •  BS/MS degree on Electrical Engineering or Physics or other science major;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Self-directed and independent, driven to solve problems, and inclined to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment;
