Princeton Optronics, a member of the ams group, is engaged in the development and manufacture of vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSELs) for consumer electronics and industrial applications. Princeton Optronics is engaged in high volume production of its products using external foundries in Far East.

We are seeking a highly qualified individual, with a B.S. or M.S. in physics, electrical engineering, material science, or related field who will manage the quality of the company’s laser products.

The applicant should have experience with quality assurance and control and Six Sigma manufacturing principles, preferably in the field of semiconductors. The applicant will be interfacing directly with customers as well as ams’ (our parent company) quality organization. Strong analytical and communication skills are a must.

We are looking to hire one sales Engineer, or Manager for this product line to augment our sales team. We are looking for an individual with experience in diode laser sales as well as good technical background in the laser area. Overall 7+ experience in sales with a few years’ experience in sales of diode lasers or LEDs would be a strong plus. The successful candidate would be a self-starter and highly motivated in engineering design wins and in negotiating and closing of sales opportunities.

Educational Background: BS or MS in Electrical Eng or Physics, with concentration of course work in the lasers area (semiconductor and/or solid state lasers). A strong technical background on lasers is essential for the position. Technical background can be traded off with experience.

Princeton Optronics, a leading high technology manufacturing company, located in Hamilton, NJ, is seeking a qualified individual, with high school degree and additional relevant community college coursework. The individual should have some technical background preferably in electronics and/or electrical assembly and testing.

Job responsibilities:

• Assembly of optical products including the following process:

• Wedge and ribbon wire bonding

• Manual die attach assembly using epoxy or solder.

• Basic iron hand soldering.

• Ability to read blue prints & schematics.

•  Must have good hand and eyes coordination.

•  Basic computer skill in Microsoft Office.

•  General hand assembly but not limits to other responsibilities such as inventory control, data entry, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School graduated or equivalent.

• Optoelectronics assembly and related 1-3 years experience:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
